The Ferry By Boat

Drivers coming from Washington DC can take Route 50 east across the Bay Bridge.

Drivers coming from Baltimore can take Highway 2 southeast and just before Annapolis turn off on Route 50 East and head across the Bay Bridge.

Stay on Route 50 all the way to Salisbury.  From there, take Route 13 south.  South of Princess Anne, turn right onto Route 413, which ends in Crisfield at the City Dock, where you can catch the ferry to Smith Island.

You can catch the ferry from Crisfield to Ewell.  You will need to park your car in Crisfield.  The ride lasts about 40 minutes.

When you arrive at Smith Island, look for the Smith Island Marina, just to the left of the Bayside Inn.  We're about 30 seconds away, with the longest waterfront property in the town.

Smith Island is located in the heart of the Chesapeake Bay, closest to Maryland's Eastern Shore.  Boaters are welcome and will find slips available for docking at our Smith Island Marina (click for details and rates).
